How to Make Logic Gates using Transistors
Sep 6, 2022 · In this post I have explained how to build NOT, AND, NAND, OR, and NOR logic gates using discrete transistors. The main advantage of using transistor logic gates is that they can work even with voltages as low as 1.5 V. In some electronic applications the available voltage may be inadequate to power TTL or even CMOS ICs.
Gate input controls whether current can flow between the other two terminals or not. Which of the following statements is false? (A)P-and N-type transistors are both used in CMOS designs. (B) As transistors get smaller, the frequency of your processor will keep getting faster.

Creating Logic Gates using Transistors - 101 Computing
Mar 20, 2023 · In this challenge, you will recreate some of theses logic gates by combining several transistors together. You will then test your logic gates to record their behaviour using a truth table, that will show all the outputs of your logic gates for all possible input combinations.
LOGIC GATES USING TRANSISTOR - NOT, AND, OR » PIJA …
Here we are using the transistor as a switch and controlling the base signal using a button so that we can control and see logic given to base. NOT gate using transistor works similar as NOT gate using switch. We need 1 input device and 1 output device that are button and led respectively.
MOS transistors are used as switches to implement logic functions. We've already seen how to implement truth tables using AND, OR, and NOT -- an example of combinational logic. We'll first look at some useful combinational circuits, then show how to …
Designing an AND Gate using Transistors - Circuit Digest
Oct 14, 2019 · For building an AND logic gate using a transistor we would be using BJT transistors which can be further classified into two types: PNP and NPN – Bipolar Junction Transistors. The circuit symbol for each of them can be seen below. This article will explain to you, how to build AND Gate circuit using transistor.
Logic Gate Circuits using BJTs
Nov 17, 2024 · This article will teach you how to construct discrete transistor logic gates for NOT, AND, NAND, OR, and NOR. Transistor logic gates have BJT the primary benefit of operating at voltages that are as low as 1.5 V.

Logic gate output won't go low enough to turn off NPN transistor
Jun 4, 2023 · I'm trying to get a 74HC00 (NAND) logic gate's output to turn an NPN transistor (BC337) on and off. But I'm finding the logic gate's output, although an oscilloscope shows it to be going as low as gnd (and below due to ripple) and as high as the 5V power rail (plus some ripple), doesn't seem to ever go "low" enough to switch the transistor off.
• Used to build logic functions • There are seven basic logic gates: AND, OR, NOT, NAND (not AND), NOR (not OR), XOR, and XNOR (not XOR) [later]
Depletion-load NMOS logic - Wikipedia
A depletion-load NMOS NAND gate In integrated circuits, depletion-load NMOS is a form of digital logic family that uses only a single power supply voltage, unlike earlier NMOS (n-type metal-oxide semiconductor) logic families that needed multiple power supply voltages. Although manufacturing these integrated circuits required additional processing steps, improved switching speed and …
