OptiFine can be great in vanilla Minecraft, but when playing with a lot of mods, Rubidium/Sodium should be used, especially since OptiFine is known to cause a lot of issues with other mods, primarily caused by OptiFine being a closed-source project.

Oct 14, 2021 · A lot of 1.12 mods are still receiving support, some pretty big mods too. Because of the massive code changes, modding has the largest support in 1.7 and 1.12. Of course by the time OP has learned enough to create mods 1.20 might already be out so this is irrelevant.

May 22, 2024 · ai is a very helpful tool for me when modding for simplifying information, explaining complex math, or giving ideas but you cant just give it a prompt and have it make the whole mod for you. my best experience has been with microsoft copilot as it can link sources, and you can send it files to read and explain. it also feels like its wrong less often than say chatgpt
