The real answer here is just make sure it has slope toward the downspouts. A good realistic idea, would be the bubble on your level touching one line or the other, or possibly breaking the line a little.

(about 13') That being said: I have TJI's at the 18" OH. Do I just block out a gutter box, wrape the roof membrane into that and add a gutter as well? Any detail image is welcome.

Jun 17, 2015 · Phil ive done a lot of those installs. Need a special hanger for the gutter. Its called rod and nut. Its a threaded aluminum rod plus a hanger that you screw into the roof. Its strong and ive been back to jobs ive done 15 years ago and still perfect.

Jul 7, 2006 · IMO this is highly improper. Most drip edges have 1 1/2" face and that 1 1/2" is not enough to cover the back of the gutter, especially since by your own admission it is a 2" drop. A typical gutter flashing, L shaped, usually has a 2 1/2" face, however we often custom bend out own for situations where we need to cover more than 2 1/2".

We were changing the gutter because the homeowner was changing colors and decided to put all new soffit, fascia, and gutter, as well as a roof. Nov 9, 2007 · I am getting ready to cover a low slope roof with a 1.5 /12 slope with asphalt shingles. Does anyone have any experience with the use of an ice/water shield (such as a Grace Product) for this application. I would be interested to see if anyone who used this product for my type of application has any positive or negative comments.
