The width of a curb depends on the road type and speed limit. Curb lanes should be a minimum width of 3.3m wide where possible, and 3.5m wide on roads with a speed limit of 60km/h where possible. Curb lanes on roads with urban shoulders or dedicated cycling facilities should be from 3.0m to 3.5m wide. The minimum width of a curb lane on TTC bus service routes is 3.3m. The minimum width of a driveway is 20 feet, and the maximum width is 35 feet when the traffic speed limit is 35 mph or more.
