Apr 20, 2007 · If so, make sure the grout and existing silicon is clean(it has been subjected to showering now)and the grout is not powdery, and run a smaller bead up against the old silicon, concentrating on the side that meets the tile/grout. Jul 22, 2018 · Incidentally, a white grout that close to the hob really should be epoxy or it will go off colour very fast. Let's hope they didn't use that because no way can you remove epoxy grout. But as for the gap, that's fine, just the colour is too much of a contrast for your liking.

Mar 9, 2007 · get a two pack epoxy grout that has longer lasting lifetime. Not for amateurs, horrible stuff in the wrong hands, doesn't last anyhow, used it lasted 3 years, should be re-named poxy grout.

Jun 2, 2022 · The tiler has used grout in the corner between the two walls and in the last couple of weeks two hairline cracks, both about 6 inches long have appeared in the vertical corner join - I suspect there has been a bit of movement in the eggbox wall.

Obviously BAL need to recommend the product that they have no doubts over and I agree, the finished article is quite something. But reading the post above, is there a product that you could recommend that would work as well but easier to work with
