Melissa is a main anchor for WTOL 11’s evening news. Dan Cummins is a familiar face as WTOL 11's Emmy Award-winning former sports director who now sits in the anchor chair on afternoon and FOX36 newscasts. Amanda Fay is the main anchor for Good Day on WTOL 11 weekdays at 9 a.m. and also WTOL 11 News at Noon.

WTOL 11 reporter Andre Norrils was born in Toledo and looks forward to telling stories in northwest Ohio. A proud University of Florida Gator, Megan is a reporter who joined WTOL 11 in January, 2024. Northeast Ohio native Steve Iwanek is a multi-skilled journalist. Laura Sandlin is a native Toledoan who is proud to report in her hometown.

WTOL's italic "Toledo 11" logo, used from 1980 to 1996. The "11" from this logo is currently in use at former sister station WTOC-TV. From the mid-1970s to 2003, WTOL was known on-air as "Toledo 11" (sometimes spelled out as "Toledo Eleven").

It is owned by Tegna Inc., which provides certain services to Fox affiliate WUPW (channel 36) under a joint sales agreement (JSA) with American Spirit Media. The two stations share studios on North Summit Street in downtown Toledo; WTOL's transmitter is located on Cedar Point Road in Oregon, Ohio.
