Activate the Ink Workspace with a right-click. Right-click anywhere on the taskbar and from the context menu select Show Windows Ink Workspace button. An icon of a pen writing in an “S” shape will appear in the notifications area to the far right.

Right-click an empty area on the Taskbar and click on Taskbar settings. Look for the Pen menu and set it to On. A Pen icon with a curvy line will appear on the right-hand corner of the Taskbar.

Press the Windows Ink Workspace button in your system tray at the bottom right of your screen or click the back of your pen**! If you don’t see the icon, right-click anywhere in the system tray and click on “Show Windows Ink Workspace Button.”

1 Open Settings, and click/tap on the Personalization icon. 2 Click/tap on Taskbar on the left side. (see screenshot below) 3 Turn on (default) or off Show Windows Ink Workspace button on the right side for what you want. 4 You can now close Settings if you like.

If your device has a pen digitizer in the screen, the system tray icon for the feature is turned on by default. If you don’t see the system tray icon, right click the taskbar and select “Show Windows Ink Workspace button”.
