Carlos Alcaraz won the Wimbledon men's singles title for the first time by ending Novak Djokovic's recent dominance with a stunning victory. Spain's Alcaraz, 20, fought back from a nervy start to win 1-6 7-6 (8-6) 6-1 3-6 6-4 against the defending champion.

Carlos Alcaraz is the 2024 Wimbledon champion after defeating Novak Djokovic 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4). This is the fourth Grand Slam title of his career. Sunday's win became his second consecutive Wimbledon title, with last year's also happening against Djokovic.

For the second time in a row, Carlos Alcaraz has won Wimbledon. And he did so in dominant fashion. Alcaraz, 21, made fairly quick work of men's singles Grand Slam title record holder Novak Djokovic Sunday to win his fourth Grand Slam championship 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (4).
