Feb 22, 2025 · Every time I change it the browser immediately flips back to Edge. I can literally close out of default apps, reopen it, and Edge is default again. This is causing me some issues with some of my courseware. Please help. Note: I have Windows 11. I have tried restarting. I have tried keeping my settings app open with Chrome selected as default

However, with more people asking for the passwords to be accessed from other apps such as the Authenticator app, Microsoft made changes so that passwords are now stored in Wallet.

Nov 7, 2022 · The Page settings you mention sounds like the menu you see if you click on the gear icon ⚙ on the New Tab Page. The options available there apply to that page only. There are no advanced settings in Edge. If you've found instructions to open 'Advanced,' they're out of date. If you explain what you're trying to do, someone will be able to help.
