World Architecture Day is celebrated every first Monday of October, on October 6 this year, to appreciate the great architectural works of the ancient and modern worlds and the super brilliant people who design them.

World Architecture Day (WAD), created by the International Union of Architects (UIA) in 1985, is celebrated annually on the first Monday of October. This day coincides with the United Nations World Habitat Day, aligning the architectural community’s efforts with global urban development goals.

Since 1985, every year, World Architecture Day is celebrated on the first Monday of October created by the International Union of Architects (UIA) in parallel with UN World Habitat Day to remind us the collective responsibility of architects to design a better future for the human habitat.
