I've recently watched the Vice documentary about bringing down Hunter Moore. The anonymous hacker group was very much active in the 2010s what happened to them? Where are they now? Are they any recent activities that they have done? Do they even have a social media?

I remember a few years ago the hacktivist group Anonymous was a major sensation, that had the support of people all over the world, and appeared in numerous news stories for their political activism and trying to right the wrongs of governments.

Jan 16, 2017 · Anonymous is a joke, and only redditors still take the "we are the legion" meme seriously. It's a fancy nickname that script kiddies take for themselves to feel important. Now, Lulzsec, those were actual hackers with some actual accomplishments, but they got busted by FBI a long time ago.

Sheena mentioned a certain DabbleVerse personality befriended her, then betrayed her. Rumors are it was Phil Elmore himself, mistaking her attention for affection. Whatever occurred between the two of them caused her to quit the internet and for Phil to quit his show.

While Anonymous isn't exactly a "hacking group" or really any kind of organized anything, they are still very much around and in the news. Most recently some members took over the KKK's twitter account and have been outing KKK members.
