It’s been a scary week here at the KSR Compound as our fearless leader, Matt Jones, has been in the hospital for issues related to high blood pressure. Matt was released yesterday and is now resting at home, but this morning, took a few minutes to call in to the radio show and update us all on his condition.

A Jacksonville native, Jones will play for his hometown team after the New England Patriots agreed to trade the veteran quarterback to the Jaguars in exchange for a sixth-round pick, according to ESPN and confirmed by CBS Sports lead NFL insider Jonathan Jones.

In the hours since Jones' injury, it has been revealed to be a high ankle sprain that ESPN reports is severe and would cause many to have surgery.

Jones fell hard on his left leg, and limped off the field after the play. He didn't even bother going to the blue medical tent, limping his way to the locker room as the Ravens put the finishing touches on a 37-26 win at Gillette Stadium.
