The Golden State Warriors are looking to potentially bring in some new pieces to help Steph Curry, and they are reportedly getting calls from other organizations about making deals. Per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, there are several NBA general managers that have reached out to Warriors' general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. about possible trades.

According to Marc Stein, who wrote in his SteinLine newsletter, the Warriors believe they are “well-positioned” to make a trade within the next year, assuming the right target becomes available. Golden State has multiple high-level young players and future draft picks at its disposal.

The Golden State Warriors failed to acquire both Lauri Markkanen and Paul George, the two players the team was most linked to in trade rumors this offseason. In pursuit of an established co-star for Steph Curry, the Warriors reportedly went after both George and Markkanen, but held players like Jonathan Kuminga and Brandon Podziemski off limits.
