The Warmer Kiwi Homes Program, initiated by the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) in New Zealand, aims to provide financial support to eligible homeowners in New Zealand, covering 80-100% of the costs associated with insulation and heating installations.

The Government’s Warmer Kiwi Homes programme offers grants for qualifying homeowners (not for rental properties) for: 80%-90% of the total cost of ceiling and underfloor insulation. 80%-90% of the cost of an approved heater installed in your home. This could be a heat pump or an efficient wood or pellet burner for the main living area.

Warmer Kiwi Homes Warmer Kiwi Homes is a four-year Government programme offering grants covering 80% of the cost of an efficient wood burner, pellet burner or heat pump for the main living area (capped at $3,000), as well as ceiling and underfloor insulation.

Warmer Kiwi Homes, run by EECA (the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority), offers Government grants to cover 80%of the insulation costs and up to 80% of the cost of an efficient heater to eligible lower-income homeowners.
