Join a Teams meeting. In your meeting controls, select More actions > Video effects and settings. Select Video settings. Select Blur to blur your background. Select a Teams background to apply it to your video feed. Select Add new to upload and use an image from your computer.

To change your background to one of the built-in images, click the three-dot menu icon while on a Microsoft Teams video call and choose "Show Background Effects" to open the "Background Settings" panel. Click on an image and then select the "Apply" button. That's all there is to it.

Start a video chat or meeting, click on the ‘Background Effects’ button. You should see all your custom background images available to select in the ‘Background Settings’ screen. Your custom background image will be added to the bottom of the list of images on the Background settings screen.

The first option that you have for adding custom background images can be done right in Microsoft Teams. To do this, go to the calendar view and select an empty space in the calendar. Click on [Meet now]. A private meeting will begin. Turn on your camera. Click on Background filters. Click on [Add new].
