I'm looking for a printable template so I can cut into the wood panel and screw the speakers down not an adaptor though I could make a template out...

Most speakers come with templates. If you already own the speakers you are installing you should be able to draw a line around them on paper.

they have tweeters on them so I cant trace also the hole they go into must be smaller than the circumferance of the speaker so there is no real way...

If I didn't have the tmplate (and I looked on the net, hard to find) I would trace the shape of the speaker. First cut a hole in a sheet of cardboa...

i'm thinking about sticking a couple of 6x9's right behind the seat. couldn't I just drill new holes into the metal behind the carpet?

Why not something like this for 6x9 speakers, would be easy to do...

or if u really need a template go buy a new speaker use the cardboard that comes with it and then trace it and then return the new speaker back to...
