According to a release from NBC Sports, NBC's Olympics primetime show will begin after covering the opening ceremonies. Primetime coverage will officially begin at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on July 26. NBC and Peacock will be covering the opening ceremonies at noon ET with Spanish-language coverage beginning at 1 p.m. ET on Telemundo.

There will be live coverage of the Paris action daily from 4 a.m. ET to 6 p.m. ET. In primetime, starting from 8 p.m. ET (2 a.m. the next morning in Paris), NBC’s marquee broadcast will air live and concentrate on the biggest events of the day with its show “Primetime in Paris.”
