Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage. At the top, you’ll see a color-coded bar showing how much space you have left, how much is taken up, and what's taking it up. The biggest categories are usually Photos and Apps, but that depends on your usage. Below, there is a list of your apps sorted by how much space they take.

You can free up space on an iPhone by deleting apps, photos, and videos. To free more space on your iPhone, clear Safari's cache and delete old messages. To see how much storage space is left, head to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.

Your device can fill up quickly depending on the size of its storage capacity and how much content you have. If you see a message that your device's storage is full, you can free up space by using iCloud Photos or deleting content on your device.

To fix this issue, update your iPhone or iPad to iOS 13.6.1 or iPadOS 13.6.1. If you don’t have enough available storage to update wirelessly, update your device to iOS 14.1 or iPadOS 14.1 or later using a computer.

If you ever see a “storage almost full” or “iCloud storage almost full” message, you should check your storage first. Here's how to do this: Open the Settings app. Tap General. Select iPhone Storage. Here you can see how much space you are using on your iPhone.
