Louvre timed entry ticket question - Rick Steves Travel Forum
Jul 31, 2022 · Museum policies about late arrival vary. The tickets section of the Louvre website may include its late-arrival policy. Assuming the Louvre is still selling tickets on site (I haven't checked), there will be separate lines for those with tickets and those needing to buy tickets. There will also be a security line that everyone must go through.

Oct 2, 2024 · Andrea, I checked the entrances for the Louvre. The Porte de Lions is not usually open. The Porte (Passage) de Richilieu is open only for groups and annual pass holders. That leaves you with the Pyramid entrance and the Carrousel entrances.
