A rounder is scored if the ball is hit, even if a no ball was thrown, and the batter touches the 4th post before the post is stumped or the ball is back with the bowler in the bowlers square. A 1/2 rounder can be scored if a player reaches the 2nd or 3rd post in one hit.

To score a point a player must hit the ball and make it round to the 4th post before the next ball is bowled. If a player manages to get to the 4th post without hitting a ball then half a rounder is scored.

You will receive one rounder when: the ball is hit and 4th post is reached and touched before next ball is bowled. The ball is hit and 4th post is reached on a no ball (you can’t be caught out on a no ball). You will receive half a rounder when: the 4th post is reached without hitting the ball.

Rounders games are played between two teams. Each team has a minimum of 6 players and a maximum of 15 players. No more than 9 players may be on the field at any one time. One team bats while the other team fields and bowls. The bowler bowls the ball to the batter, who hits the ball forward on the rounders pitch.
