Verification

It is an internal process that involves checking documents, designs, codes, and programs to ensure they are built correctly according to the specified requirements². Verification is often referred to as static testing because it does not involve executing the code³. Methods used in verification include reviews, walkthroughs, inspections, and desk-checking².
