This means taking note of our feelings and situations and finding any restricting ideas or thought patterns that might prevent us from moving forward. Once we understand our current circumstances, we can turn to God for guidance and strength.

You can rise above the storms in your life by taking your eyes off physical circumstances and turn your eyes of faith to the powerful and effective word of God. Ephesians 3:20 says that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we can think or ask according to the power that works in us.

When adversity hits, we can become better; we can rise above; we can even grow beyond and do things we never thought we could. We now know it’s more in our power than we may like to believe. It may sometimes feel easier to be a victim, but it’s certainly not a role that leads to a fulfilling, satisfying, and meaningful life.
