If you sync a type of data, like history or passwords, deleting it on your computer will delete it everywhere it's synced. It'll be removed from other devices and your Google Account. On your computer, open Chrome. At the top right, click More Delete browsing data. Choose a time range, like Last hour or All time.

Open Google Chrome on Windows, Mac, or Linux and then click the three-dot menu icon found in the top-right corner of the browser. From there, hover your mouse cursor over "More Tools" and choose "Clear Browsing Data." You can also jump right to the clear browsing data window with a keyboard shortcut.

Go to the three-dot menu at the upper right of Chrome to select More tools > Clear browsing data. This will open a dialog box to delete your browsing history, as well as your download history (it won't delete the actual downloaded files), cookies, cached images and files (which help load pages faster when you revisit), saved passwords, and more.
