Nov 6, 2020 · Where as before it would just autodetect the game was running and toggle itself on and if you wanted to turn it off you'd have to do alt + z and go in overlay layout and turn off fps counter. I think they tried to implement this to avoir that someone had to go in the settings to turn off the fps counter.
