According to Fightful Select (h/t H Jenkins of Ringside News), WWE added time to his previous contract due to a shoulder injury that kept him out from August 2023 until April 2024, but Sheamus then signed an entirely new deal to remain with WWE moving forward.

News has arrived that a long-time fan favorite is going to be sticking around the WWE for more bangers. Sheamus, the 12-time former champion, has reportedly inked a new deal to remain with the promotion for the foreseeable future.

According to " Fightful Select," Sheamus has officially re-signed with WWE. Their sources claim that the "Celtic Warrior" would have had his contact come up sooner, but since he suffered the aforementioned injury, negotiations only took place recently.

Since then, there has been various speculation that the former World Champion might have furtively left the promotion. However, that's not the case, as Sheamus is still with WWE. The 45-year-old is currently on hiatus because of a shoulder injury he suffered during his match.

In a recent interview with Inside The Ropes, the Celtic Warrior once again reiterated that he has no plans to retire any time soon: “As long as people get excited to see The Celtic Warrior go out there, I’ll just keep going as long as possible. I feel like I have got at least another 8 years in me,” said Sheamus.
