Open the Saved tab > select Labelled > choose Home or Work to set the desired address. If you are on the web, you can access the saved tab by clicking on the hamburger menu in the top right corner > Your Places. You can always edit or remove the Home or Work address on Google Maps. To modify it, select the three-dot icon next to Home/Work.

You can change them as many times as you want. Usually, after setting your home and work address, they appear as Home and Work each time you open Google Maps. To change either of them: On Google Maps, click the three menu horizontal bars, and go to Your places. Next, click on the delete symbol (X) to the right of the one you want to edit or remove.

On desktop, log in to your Google account on the Google Maps site, access the "Saved" menu, open the "Labeled" tab, then click the "Home" item. Google Maps allows you to set a home address (and work address) so you can quickly find directions to and from your home. When you move, you should update it in Google Maps, too.
