The acai berry palm should start to germinate within 1-2 months. Once they begin sprouting, you can go ahead and remove the plastic bag. Place the pot in a partially shaded spot. Keep the soil damp at all times and once they reach a height of about 2 inches, transplant them into 4-inch diameter tree pots of cactus and palm potting soil.
