A Lava Lift, or Skull Raft, is a type of platform in the Super Mario series. It first appears in Super Mario World. A Lava Lift is made up of skulls, and they are used by Mario and Luigi to travel across the lava.

Lava Geysers (also called Vents, Lava Spouts, and Lava Fountains) are eruptions of lava that occur periodically from lava and fiery pits. They first appear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong, and have been a recurring feature in Mario-related media ever since.

Lava is a common hazard found throughout the Newer Super Mario Bros. series. Just as it is in the base games, lava is a scorching red substance with an orange-white glow on its surface, not unlike real lava.

I am trying to figure out how to make floating water / lava platforms in the main 4 styles, similar to the crates in 3D world. As far as I know, dry bone shells are the only item that can do so. Does anyone have any other information?
