Jan 31, 2025 · There is no login screen to return to since my computer cannot get to that point. It appears to go through POST and then it shows my motherboard BIOS screen and the loading dots that appear right before the login screen shows up. But the login screen never shows up, it turns a different shade of black and the cursor is just a blue loading circle.

Aug 3, 2015 · I did it out of desperation & everything came back. To put it on "tablet" mode swipe the screen from the extreme right to left. You'll have opened the "Action Center." Look down, at the bottom right of the screen. There are a bunch of little boxes. The box on the upper left is "Tablet mode." Tap that and you will have your old desktop back.
