The expansive Olympic track and field program consists of track events (such as the 100m sprints, 4x400m relay and 110m hurdles), field events (like the shot put, discus and pole vault) and road events (marathon, race walking).

The world’s best track and field athletes will compete at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 from 1 to 11 August. There will be 48 events, consisting of 23 each for men and women as well as two mixed events (the 4x400m mixed relay and the 35km mixed team race walk), mainly at the iconic Stade de France in Paris, France.
