Pronunciation of English th - Wikipedia
In English, the digraph ⟨thâź© represents in most cases either one or the other of two phonemes: the voiced dental fricative /ð/ (as in this) and the voiceless dental fricative /θ/ (as in thing). Occasionally, it stands for /t/ (as in Thailand, or Thomas) or the cluster /tθ/ (as in eighth). In compound words, ⟨thâź© may be a consonant sequence rather than a digraph (as in the /t.h/ of lighthouse).
