Custom views in Tableau allow users to save a specific state of interaction, such as filter selections and sorting, for a published visualization. This feature is useful for users who frequently adjust the same filters or zoom into the same data every time they view a visualization1.
Creating a Custom View
To create a custom view, navigate to the individual view and make the desired changes (e.g., selecting marks, filtering data, or changing sorts). Once ready, click on the Save Custom View button in the toolbar1.
