  1. Baby Wild Bunnies Abandoned

Organizing and summarizing search results for you
If you find an abandoned wild baby bunny, you should:
    • Check around to see if the nest is nearby as many times the mother will be close.
    • If there is no doubt in your mind that the little baby is not being cared for by the mother, the next best thing you can do is to take it to a wildlife rehabilitator.
    • If taking it to a wildlife rehabilitator is not an option, you will need to care for it until it’s old enough to be set free.
If the nest shows signs of disturbance or damage, the baby bunnies may have been abandoned by their mother. In this case, you should provide the baby bunny with food and water and place it in a cardboard box or large kennel/crate with small mesh openings.
