To start, launch the Google Maps app on your phone. On the right side of the map, tap the "Your Location" option. This will highlight your current location on the map. If Google Maps asks to access your phone's location, grant it permission to do so.

If you’re using Google Maps on your desktop or laptop computer, open your browser and navigate to https://maps.google.com. Click the blue-and-white target symbol near the bottom-right corner of the map to re-center the map and display your current location, which will be marked with a blue dot.

The my location tool will find your current location, exact address, GPS coordinates, latitude and longitude on the map. Move the map around to see the streets and places around you. If you need to share your location with someone, you can simply send them the following link.
