It follows the story of Gideon, a Union officer during his heyday, who finds himself the target of a manhunt led by Colonel Morsman Carver, his Civil War arch-nemesis.

But those typical Westerns were pretty darn good, and so is Seraphim Falls. This is an entertaining Western with some earnest ideas about forgiveness, redemption and the loss of innocents. "An epic action thriller set against the backdrop of the American Civil War." Truer words have never been written. The movie has a great cast and setting.
