Remnant 2 allows you to collect a maximum of 60 Trait Points. After you reach 60, Tomes of Knowledge and bosses will no longer award additional points. However, it's important to keep in mind that these 60 points are in addition to your Archetype Trait and Core Trait Points.

In total, you can get 85 trait points in Remnant 2. But it’s not that simple. It is worth considering that 5 of them are given to you automatically and you cannot influence this. Another 20 are also automatically assigned to the traits of your archetype. As a result, there are 60 trait points left that you can upgrade on your own.

In order to benefit from a Trait, you need to level it up by using a Trait point. Traits points are obtained after defeating bosses or finding Tomes of Knowledge scattered throughout the game. As appealing as this might sound, there is a catch. Remnant 2 allows you to allocate a total of 60 Traits Points only.
