Levelling Traits up in Remnant 2, however, has changed, with Archetype Traits automatically gaining +1 when you level its corresponding Archetype. Traits are fully maxed out at level 10. Players can have up to a maximum of 110 Trait Points that benefit their playstyle and build.

Remnant 2 allows you to collect a maximum of 60 Trait Points. After you reach 60, Tomes of Knowledge and bosses will no longer award additional points.

Unfortunately, the game limits how many Trait Points a player can have. Players can earn a maximum of 65 Trait Points in Remnant 2. Once they reach this point, they will no longer get any Trait Points by finding the Tomes of Knowledge or defeating bosses. With only 65 Trait Points to spend, players will not be able to max out all of their Traits.

What is the trait point cap in Remnant 2? Unfortunately, you’ll have to be selective with which traits you invest in. While you can respec to change your build, you’ll never be able to max out every trait in the game for your character. That’s because Remnant 2 only allows you to collect a maximum of 60 Trait Points.

Technically speaking, you can have 85 total Trait Points in Remnant 2. However, that total comes with a few key things to keep in mind. 20 of those Trait Points are automatically assigned to your Archetype Traits (Prime and Secondary Archetype only. You’ll be limited to 75 with just one Archetype).
