    1. On the Insert tab, select Shapes.

    2. Select a shape from the Flowchart section of the shape gallery, then draw it on the canvas. Repeat for each shape you need. 

    3. On the Insert tab, select Shapes again and choose a connector from the Lines section of the gallery. 

    4. To draw a connector on the canvas, point at one shape, select a circular connection point on the shape, then drag to another shape. When you point at the second shape, circular connection points appear on it. While pointing at one of those connection points, release the mouse button.

    5. To add a text label to a shape, select the shape, then start typing.

    Tip: If you've already created a flowchart in Visio, on the Insert tab, select Object, then choose Microsoft Visio Drawing.  You can also create a flow chart with SmartArt.
