First, head to PayPal.com and click on the "Sign Up" button in the upper right. PayPal gives you a choice of a Personal account or a Business account. Select the option for a Personal account. Click Next. At the next screen, type your first and last name, email address, and a password. Click Next.

You can set up a PayPal account by going to PayPal.com and following these steps. Go into the Sign Up option. Pick the type of account you want. You can choose between Personal and Business. Hit Get Started.
