    Can you paint a portrait with acrylic paint?
    You can paint with acrylics first before you paint with oil, but only in very thin layers. If you are fortunate enough to work on an oil-primed canvas, you won’t be able to paint with acrylics on top of it. It’s possible to paint oil over acrylic, but not the other way around. I didn’t use any acrylic paint in this portrait.
