What would have happened in the Soviet Union had Lenin lived?
May 13, 2011 · England did not count because it was not a continental power but an island off the continent. What I said was Lenin would have done his best to keep Russia out of conflict with Germany. But Lenin not paranoid in the way Stalin was and the military purges of the 1930's would not have taken place. So the army might have been better prepared.
