You'll need to buy separate 'extra member' profiles for anyone you share with outside of your household. These will cost £4.99 a month for each person added – on top of your usual monthly payment plan. You can only buy extra profiles on Netflix's standard and premium plans, which cost £10.99 a month and £15.99 a month respectively.

Buy an extra member: Members on our Standard or Premium plan in many countries (including Canada, New Zealand, Portugal and Spain) can add an extra member sub account for up to two people they don’t live with — each with a profile, personalized recommendations, login and password — for an extra CAD$7.99 a month per person in Canada, NZD$7.99 in New Zealand, Euro 3.99 in Portugal, and Euro 5.99 in Spain.

In May 2023, Netflix introduced the option to add extra households to an account in the US. The measure had already rolled out in other countries. Members on a Standard or Premium plan can purchase additional member slots for people outside their household.

You can create a Netflix account for someone else through the Netflix website. Sign out of your Netflix account Visit netflix.com/signup. Choose a plan. (Plans can be changed at any time.) Create an account by entering an email address and creating a password. Enter a payment method.

A Netflix account is meant to be shared by people who live together in one household. People who are not in your household will need to use their own account to watch Netflix.
