While both are memory foam mattresses, the Lull’s natural bounce will be more responsive, making it easy for you to change sleeping positions and get out of bed. The Nectar’s sinking memory foam will be less responsive but more supportive of delicate pressure points in the hips and shoulders for side sleepers.

The Purple mattress has a shorter trial period and warranty than the Nectar. The Nectar mattress has three layers compared to the Purple’s five layers. The Purple is bouncy and responsive while the Nectar has a slow-responding memory foam feel. The Purple mattress is shorter at 9.25 inches compared to the Nectar’s 12 inches.

The Lull and Nectar are both all-foam mattresses, and they do not feature coils in their construction. The Nectar mattress is thicker than the Lull mattress by about 1″. Both the Lull and Nectar mattresses feature some sort of memory foam in their top layer. The Lull mattress is more affordable than the Nectar mattress.

Average weight back sleepers will sleep comfortably on both foam mattresses, but some may find more comfort and support in the thicker and slightly firmer Nectar mattress. Both mattresses will also work well for average weight side sleepers, but some may prefer the softer Casper Original which does a great job of cradling pressure points.
