  1. NCAA core course requirements include the following:
    1. A core course must meet high school graduation requirements in subjects like English and Math (Algebra I or higher).
    2. It must be on your high school’s list of NCAA-approved core courses.
    3. It should be completed in alignment with your high school’s policies related to instruction and pacing.
    4. It must be completed at a high school with a “Cleared” or “Extended Evaluation” Eligibility Center account status1.
    5. If you want to play Division I or Division II sports, you need to take and pass a certain amount of core courses (16 credits) which include language arts, math, social studies, science, and foreign language. Ten of the 16 core courses must be completed by the end of the athlete’s junior year2.
