The very first logo for Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim was created in 1961 and stayed with the club for three years. It was a bright green rhombus in a thick white outline. In the middle of the rhombus, the white baseball with black and red-stitched and a red “LA” monogram was placed.

This was the first ever logo for the team. It features a baseball in the middle with red seams, combined with wings and a halo over the top. This is all situated on top of a baseball diamond that is a light green color. The iconic red ‘L’ and “A’ are placed over the baseball.

The club, Los Angeles Angels, appeared in 1961 and immediately acquired its logo. The background is a turquoise rhombus with a white outline, on which a red and white baseball ball with wings was placed. A golden halo rises above the ball. The letters “LA,” as the initials of the city of Los Angeles, are also located inside the ball.
