The Praetorian Guards were created for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. They were a group of eight elite soldiers who protected Supreme Leader Snoke at all costs. Like the Emperor's Royal Guards, the Praetorians were clad in all-red armor and faceless helmets. They wielded high-tech melee weapons like electro-chains, vibro-voulges and electro-bisentos.

Clad in ornate crimson armor, these warriors guarded Supreme Leader Snoke, ready to meet any threat with a savage response. The Guard consisted of eight sentinels divided into four pairs, with each pair brandishing unique weapons. Their red armor was a deliberate echo of that worn by Emperor Palpatine’s royal protectors.
