The term Bibliology (from Greek biblos meaning “book”) refers to the study of the nature of the Bible as revelation. It often includes such topics as revelation, inspiration, inerrancy, canonicity, illumination, and interpretation.

Bibliology gives us answers, proofs, and a historical record of where the Bible came from, how it was written, and how it has been preserved until now. It affirms our belief in the authenticity and validity of Scripture.

Bibliology is, simply put, the study of the Holy Scriptures. This unit will cover revelation, inspiration, infallibility, inerrancy, the canon of Scripture, textual criticism, interpretation, and application.
