We were enroute and going via GT Karnal road. There's a gurudwara there and me, being a silly girl at that time, said excitedly, " Arre papa car roko, Taj Mahal aagaya!" My family still makes fun of me everytime we pass a gurudwara that your Taj Mahal is here.🤣🤣 Still, it was drop dead gorgeous the first time I looked at it.

Feb 29, 2024 · tl;dr: It's definitely possible to make a day visit to Taj Mahal from Delhi. But if budget is a big constraint, Delhi itself is very beautiful to roam around. The most convenient way would be to hire a cab for the entire trip. Cab driver will pick you from your place in Delhi, take you to Taj Mahal in Agra and drive you back.

I was looking at a glass subway tile in ‘Ivory’ to reflect some of the Taj color without detracting from it with more ‘movement’, but think I’m gonna go with a 3x12 slightly imperfect subway tile in “artisan oyster” which is just a touch beige v the “artisan frost” which is feeling too white.

I was blown away.) and the guide asserted that Shah Jahan had the workers' hands amputated so that they couldn't ever create a masterpiece to rival the Taj. I've also heard that the architect had his hand cut off.

Dec 15, 2012 · While I remember the beauty of the Taj Mahal, the Golden Temple offered a much more profound and memorable experience. Particularly eating for free in the giant food hall. The food was good and it was so humbling to sit on the floor and eat the same food with everyone else, leveling all of the rigid eating customs that rule daily Indian life.

Jan 3, 2017 · Taj Mahal is the one overly publicized tourist spot, which is still worth seeing in real life. Though I've seen thousands of Taj's pics online, I was totally awestruck the 1st time I saw it. IT WAS SO FUCKING HUGE. EDIT: Pro Tip: The best time to visit the Taj is either in early morning or in the evenings.

Feb 10, 2018 · Especially since many of the +1 bonuses are early, such as tribal villages and meeting civs, whereas after Taj Mahal you start to get those big bonuses for corps, armadas, etc. and what I call "completions" such as meeting all civs, circumnavigating the map, etc. all of which give larger bonuses where Taj Mahal comes into effect.
