An electrostatic fieldmeter, also called a static meter is a tool used in the static control industry. It is used for non-contact measurement of electrostatic charge on an object. It measures the force between the induced charges in a sensor and the charge present on the surface of an object.

With this electrostatic fieldmeter or also called a static measuring device you can measure and store the field strength. The electric charge is measured in units of kV and polarity. It enables you to carry out to measure static electricity in awkward places by means of an analog voltage sensor.

ESD (electrostatic discharge) static meters measure the static voltages present on an object's surface to determine how much ESD damage can occur to electronic devices. Wrist strap testers are pieces of monitor testing equipment by workers to control and dissipate static electricity.

The purpose is to measure the polarity of static on a conductive surface. This device can measure higher values if the operator increases the distance from the target.
