Feb 20, 2010 · Parallel ports are absolutely supported in Windows 7. Having a BIOS on the machine seems less problematic than using a PCI card. Send along the manufacturer and model of the card. Right click the computer in Devices and Printers. See if the Printer / LPT port is assigned to the computer.
